Kathmandu. IGE Prudential Insurance Limited (IGE) has concluded its 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 7. The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The meeting also approved the 5 percent cash dividend (including tax) proposed to be distributed for the fiscal year 2018-19 as well as the annual and auditor’s report for the last fiscal year.
Currently, there are 15 shareholders who own 1 percent or more of the shares in the company. The shareholding of these shareholders is between 1 percent and 6 percent.
Hemraj Dhakal is the largest shareholder in the company. He owns 6.05% or 1,831,404 units of shares in the company.
Similarly, Chandra Prasad Dhakal is the second largest shareholder of the company. Dhakal, who is also the president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), owns 4.62 percent or 1,398,771 units of shares in the company.
Usha Investment is the third largest shareholder of the company. Upa Investment holds 4.56% or 1,381,326 units of shares in IGI Prudential Insurance.
Likewise, IGI Prudential Insurance has 1,092,398 units (3.61%), RMC Investment has 7,700,418 units (2.54%), Hathway Investment has 5,74,948 units (1.90%), Kumar Poudel has 512,134 (1.69%) shares, Birendra Kumar Shanghai has 5,07,853 units (1.68%) and Tilak Ram Ranabhat has 408,660 units (1.35%).
Sumit Kumar Agrawal has 386,810 (1.28%) shares, Bishal Agrawal has 367,674 (1.21%) shares, Puja International Nepal has 337,038 units (1.11%), Deepak Kunwar has 322,166 units (1.06%), Manju Agrawal has 3,07,898 units (1.02%) and Tulsiram Agrawal has 3,02,431 (1%) shares.
