Kathmandu. Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has received the Certificate of Merit {TAG_OPEN_strong_11 under the National Best Presented Annual Report Award-2025 {{TAG_CLOSE_strong_11 TAG_CLOSE_strong_12}} by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN).
Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu The award was presented to the company in a special ceremony held on July 30, 2083. The program was attended by Acting Chief Executive Officer of the company Kabi Phuyal, Chief Financial Officer Ranju Lamsal and Finance Department’s Jina Laga.
In recognition of the excellent presentation of the annual financial report for the fiscal year 2081/82, financial transparency, effective adherence to Nepal Financial Reporting Standards and other prevailing accounting standards, and high commitment to corporate governance, ICAN has awarded the Certificate of Merit {TAG_OPEN_strong_10 to the company.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kabi Phuyal, Officiating Chief Executive Officer of the company said, “This honor is a matter of pride and happiness for the entire Sun Nepal Life Organization. He added that the award has given the company more motivation and responsibility to further strengthen financial transparency, good governance and excellent performance.
He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the Board of Directors, the Company and all the insured customers, agents, employees, shareholders, regulatory agencies and all stakeholders involved in this achievement.
