Kathmandu. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has appointed Biswa Bijay Parajuli as his advisor on humanitarian affairs.
According to the ministerial decision dated September 10, Parajuli has been appointed as an honorary advisor till the end of December. He has been appointed for a short period with the expectation that he will help in the humanitarian works to be carried out by the ministry after the Bhotekoshi floods.
Parajuli has a long and deep experience in the United Nations. The ministry believes that his experience will be very useful in humanitarian relief and rehabilitation work in Nepal. Parajuli’s expertise in disaster risk reduction and management is expected to help make the ministry’s work effective.
Minister Wagle handed over the appointment letter to Parajuli, wishing him a successful tenure.
