Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA) has extended the deadline for insurance surveyors to submit applications with updated personal details for maintaining the license of their chosen portfolio.
The deadline has been extended till July 26 due to a technical glitch in the integrated information technology system of the authority. Earlier, the deadline was set for July 26.
The authority has been allocating the area of ‘Portfolio’ on the basis of the nature of the insured property and the nature of the risk and the thematic competence of the concerned surveyor.
The NRA has also issued directives to update the personal identification details and submit an application mentioning the ‘portfolio’ in order to maintain the license of the ‘portfolio’ of the area chosen for the assessment of the damage.
