Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has directed to present legal measures for the development and reform of the capital market.
Finance Minister Wagle issued this directive while holding a discussion with the top officials of the Nepal Rastra Bank and the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) at the Ministry of Finance on Monday. Wagle has been holding discussions with the concerned authorities in view of the volatility seen in the capital market in recent times.
NRB Governor Dr Bishwanath Poudel and Deputy Governor Kiran Pandit, Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) Dr Gopal Bhatta and Deputy Executive Director Narayan Sharma Poudel were present in the meeting.
