KATHMANDU: Himalayan Life Insurance has contributed Rs 51 lakh to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund (PMLF) with an aim to support the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the recent floods and landslides in different parts of the country.

Narayan Bajaj, Chairman of Himalayan Life, handed over the assistance amount of Rs 51 lakh to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle. Dinesh Amatya, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the company and Rajendra Kumar Khetan, Chairman of Khaitan Group, were present on the occasion.

The support was in solidarity with the government, security agencies, various organizations and the private sector for rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by floods and landslides in different parts of the country.

The company has been continuously providing support under its social responsibility during natural disasters and various difficult situations. The company believes that the assistance of Rs 51 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund in the current disaster situation will contribute to the immediate relief and rehabilitation of the flood and landslide-affected people.
