Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The government has relieved 15 Nepal’s honorary consuls and counsellors from their posts.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Friday decided to recall the honorary envoys abroad and relieve them of their posts.
The meeting also decided to request President Ram Chandra Poudel to address a joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament on May 12. The government has called on the people to be present in the joint meeting compulsorily.
The joint meeting will be held at 4 pm on Monday.
KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Council of Ministers has given approval to the Federal Parliament for ratification of important international conventions related to labour. These include the International Labour Organization (ILO) Binding Labour Convention, 1930 Protocol No. 29 (P029) of 2014 and the Non-Aligned Labour Organization (NLO) Convention 1947 (No. 81).
