Kathmandu. US public support for Donald Trump’s immigration policies has fallen to 38%. That’s the lowest level since he was re-elected.
Approval ratings in January stood at 39%, according to a four-day Reuters/Ipsos poll that ended on Monday. It reached an all-time high of 50% in the early months of his return to power.
Trump promised the biggest deportation campaign in decades in the run-up to the 2024 election and ordered mass raids when he takes office in January 2025.
