Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The ninth annual general meeting of Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Company has been held in Kathmandu on Sunday. The meeting was held at Shubha Events, Golfutar, Kathmandu.
The AGM was presided over by the Chairman of the company, Mr. Rattan Lal Kedia, where the Chairman of the company delivered the welcome speech and presented the annual report.
The Ninth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company has approved the Annual Report of Sanima Reliance Life Insurance Company for the FY 2081/82 along with its Annual Report and Financial Statements for the FY 2081/82.
Also, as proposed by the Board of Directors, the existing paid-up capital will be increased to 10. The meeting also approved a proposal to distribute cash dividend at the rate of 1780 percent along with tax. Likewise, the meeting also approved the proposal of appointment of auditor for the fiscal year 2081/82 and determination of his/her remuneration.
Chief Executive Officer of the company, Shiva Nath Pandey, said that the company has been able to occupy a respectable position in the insurance market due to institutional good governance, development of system, customer-oriented service, agent-friendly motivational programs, expansion of branch network, use of information technology, strong internal control system, austerity in expenses, high morale of employees, trust of insured and motivational support of agents, guardian role of the board of directors and guidance ।
He also stated that the company has been operating as a strong, capable company by patiently managing the challenges of the merger.
