Kathmandu. The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies is organizing the ‘Make in Nepal-Swadeshi Campaign’ in collaboration with the Department of Industry (DoI).
The one-day exhibition will be held at the International Club, Sanepa, Lalitpur on December 13 (December 27), Lalitpur, with the objective of promoting quality Nepali products, enhancing the capacity of domestic industries and enterprises, and providing market access to domestic producers.
More than three thousand people are expected to participate in the expo which has been provided free stall facilities and free entry for the general public.
Around 40-50 industries and enterprises including agriculture and agro-technology, food and processed products, textiles and apparel, handicraft and art industry, Ayurvedic and healthcare products, decorative materials, tea and beverages, and other products will be participating in the expo.
The program will allow participating industries to publicly showcase their products and services, interact directly with consumers and network with potential buyers, distributors, business partners and stakeholders.
On the occasion, Confederation President Birendra Raj Pandey expressed the belief that the domestic market 2025 would highlight the identity of Nepali industries, skills, innovation and entrepreneurship at the national level and help strengthen the national economy through promotion of consumption of domestic products. With the government adopting a policy to promote domestic production and industries, the domestic market 2025 is expected to boost the morale of Nepali industrialists.
