Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. On the day, the NEPSE index increased by 39.92 points to close at 2,600.22.
Following the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 12 sub-groups have increased while one group has fallen. The life insurance group was the top gainer by 2.55 per cent while the mutual fund group fell by 0.27 per cent.
Shares of 237 companies increased and 18 declined. On this day, the share prices of 2 companies are stable.
More than Rs 6.25 billion was traded in the market today. The highest turnover has been done by NRN Infrastructure.
