Kathmandu. Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has published the ticket price of the upcoming Nepal Premier League T20 Cricket Tournament. The association has also opened the sale of tickets for the first 6 days of the game from Thursday with advance reservation.
According to CAN, the price of general ticket has been fixed at Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 for VIP ticket. Tickets were priced at Rs 300 and Rs 700 for the opening matches of last year’s series. Customers can buy tickets online from Khalti mobile app.
The matches under the tournament will be held at Kirtipur Cricket Stadium of Tribhuvan University from November 14 to November 17.
With the construction of physical infrastructures in the ground, the spectators were compelled to watch cricket sitting on the ground but now the spectators will be able to watch cricket sitting on the parapet. Floodlights have also been installed to host the competition at night.
Viewers who have been able to watch the matches live on YouTube for free will have to pay a fee to watch the tournament on Dish Home’s mobile app and paid television channels.
Seven cricket teams from seven provinces and 1 team from Kathmandu Valley will take part in the tournament. These cricket teams have been sponsored by various companies and groups. Members of the national cricket team as well as foreign and internationally famous players will also be able to watch their matches in the tournament.
