Kathmandu. Daraz, South Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, officially launched its last-mile delivery solution through its logistics arm, Daraz Express. The new service is a fast, reliable and tech-savvy solution for brands and sellers who want to sell products even when they are not on Daraz’s platform. Daraz Express, through this, aims to provide agile, secure and reliable distribution network for businesses across Nepal, empowering them to expand their business while focusing on their products.

Daraz Express has brought this solution to meet the need for speed, satisfaction and transparency not being provided by existing service providers in the market. Using Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based route-planning system and real-time parcel tracking technology, DEX has the ability to fulfill local orders within 24 hours, and inter-city deliveries within 48 hours. This has helped bring down the average delivery time to less than 1.5 days. Furthermore, with over 90% successful results, DEX is providing an integrated solution ensuring delivery of parcels of all value. All these improvements have contributed significantly to increasing operational efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction. The proof of this is the 4.6÷5 customer rating received by DEX.

Till now, DEX has expanded its services to 108 major cities of Nepal. It also plans to expand its service to 70 more cities before the upcoming 11.11 campaign. This highlights Daraz Express’s nationwide reach and commitment to ‘fast and reliable e-commerce for all’.

DEX has also focused on smooth cash flow and transparent financial management for sellers. Under this, sellers will get the facility of cash-on-delivery code amount settlement multiple times a week. The company believes that this will ensure a conducive environment for them to reinvest immediately. At the same time, DEX aims to reduce the risk of businesses and help them earn more income by providing no fees for failed delivery.

“DEX is redefining last-mile delivery systems across South Asia,” said Ahmad Tanweer, Chief Logistics Officer of Daraz Group. Our mission is to build a delivery ecosystem that simplifies logistics, further strengthens customer experience, and drives sustainable growth in the e-commerce industry. ”

Through this solution, MHH aims to help brands and sellers in Nepal gain expanded market access, simplify business operations, and build a strong regional e-commerce ecosystem.
