Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Sanei Takachi have signed two new agreements.
One marks the beginning of a new “golden era” in U.S.-Japan relations, while the other deals with critical minerals. The two leaders signed these agreements some time ago and took pictures with the documents.
The first agreement focuses on strengthening the partnership between the two long-standing allies. The second critical minerals agreement provides a framework for ensuring supply of rare earth.
After signing the agreement, Trump praised Japan as a “strong partner of the United States” and praised the country’s first female prime minister, Sanei Takachi.
