Kathmandu. One-way traffic has resumed on the roads of four districts.
According to the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, one-way traffic has come into operation on the roads of Dhading, Chitwan, Makawanpur and Nuwakot districts. “One-way vehicular movement has resumed on the road sections from Kathmandu to these districts with the gradual improvement in weather,” the notice issued by the Kathmandu administration said. ’
Vehicles heading to Nuwakot from Kathmandu and Dakshinkali via Kathmandu have been completely closed due to incessant rainfall for the past two days. Works are underway to clear landslides along the Dhadi, Nuwakot and Dakshinkali road sections of Kathmandu with the gradual improvement in weather in this regard. The information has been received from the administrations of Dhading, Chitwan, Makawanpur and Nuwakot that necessary preparations are being made for the one-way vehicular operation by clearing landslides in different places.
