Kathmandu. New fares for domestic flights have been announced.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has announced the new airfare rates for domestic flights. As per the new airfare, the airfare between Kathmandu and Dhangadhi has been set at Rs 17,579. The fare for Kathmandu-Biratnagar has been fixed at Rs 9,785, while the fare for Kathmandu-Bharatpur has been fixed at Rs 4,643 and Rs 12,112 for Kathmandu-Bhadrapur.
As per the new fares, the fare for Kathmandu-Pokhara has been fixed at Rs 6,635, Kathmandu-Nepalgunj Rs 13,103, Kathmandu-Simara Rs 3,978, Kathmandu-Bhairahawa Rs 8,461, Kathmandu-Rajbiraj Rs 8,210, Kathmandu-Surkhet Rs 9,030 and Kathmandu-Tumlingtar Rs 7,630.
The authority has instructed airlines companies, official ticket sellers and travel agencies to sell tickets lower than this fares.
