Kathmandu. Bhaktapur: The Bhaktapur District Ad-hoc Committee of the National Private and Boarding Schools Association Nepal (PABSON) has been formed in Bhaktapur. National PABSON National Chairperson and Constituent Assembly member Geeta Rana Chhetri was the chief guest.
Punyaram Kawa has been appointed as the coordinator of the ad-hoc committee. A 7-member committee has been formed under his leadership. The members of the committee are Shiva Krishna Kawa, Bishworam Duwal, Dinash Shakya, Ratna Bahadur Rai, Kamal Suwal and Sarala Kaslawat. The National PABSON has said that it will elect more members from the upcoming meeting. Bikram Dhubhu has also been elected as the advisor of the committee. The committee has planned to hold the district convention within three months.
On the occasion, central chairperson Geeta Rana administered the oath of office and secrecy to the office-bearers of the committee. On the occasion, President Rana said that the center has been working on capacity building of teachers, curriculum improvement and policy making. She expressed her commitment to conduct more programs in the coming days to enhance the capacity of teachers and students of the school.
Pratap Thapa, general secretary of National PABSON, expressed hope that the ad-hoc committee would come up with various programs to enhance the capacity of teachers in the coming days. Stating that the Centre has been conducting various programmes since the past, he said that more attention would be paid to capacity building of students in the coming days.
Former National President Rituraj Sapkota, former National President Pandav Hamal Thakuri, Bagmati Province Coordination Sub-Committee Coordinator Surya Bahadur Adhikari and other office-bearers were present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Punyaram Kawa, coordinator of the ad-hoc committee, presented his views on the upcoming plans and commitments.
