Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has directed the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to use the office set up separately.
The Ministry has issued a circular directing the NRA in this regard. The circular states that the office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NEA is not necessary. Therefore, the Ministry has directed the Authority to use the office itself.
According to the ministry, this is a secretary-level decision.
Energy Minister is the chairman of NEA’s board of directors. Prior to this, the then Energy Minister Deepak Khadka had set up a separate office for the NEA Chairman.
Kulman Ghising is the Energy Minister of the current government. He was the one who ordered the removal of the president’s office.
