Kathmandu. Passengers at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) will now have to enter immigration an hour in advance.
The Immigration Office of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) issued a notice in this regard. The office has also urged all the airlines operating international flights to facilitate the entry of passengers into immigration by checking-in at least one hour before the flight time.
At present, there is a huge rush of passengers at the immigration desk towards the departure of the airport, especially at night. The civil aviation authority is responsible for determining the schedule of flights. The office has also been urged to make flight training flexible at night and move forward.
In view of this situation, all passengers have been requested to enter the departure area at least one hour before the flight time and assist in the immigration work.
