Kathmandu. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CNIYEF) has concluded its first international B2B visit to Turkey.
The visit is aimed at connecting Nepal’s young entrepreneurs to the international market, exploring possibilities of mutual business cooperation and promoting Nepal’s entrepreneurship globally. Eight young entrepreneurs led by CNIYF President Ashish Agrawal met and discussed with various business organizations, industrialists and entrepreneurs in Turkey. Entrepreneurs from various sectors such as construction, information technology, health, finance, trade and services, agriculture and tourism have explored opportunities for cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and innovation.
The nepali youth entrepreneurs’ representatives discussed the issues of cooperation between small and medium enterprises (SMEs) between the two countries, trade promotion and investment prospects, production trade, agricultural processing and industrial cooperation, construction, infrastructure and technology with The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Turkey, The Anatolian Lions Entrepreneurs Association (ASKON), the organization of independent industrialists and entrepreneurs. Similarly, young entrepreneurs from the two countries have also got the opportunity to build a mutual B2B network.
CNIYF President Ashish Agarwal said the visit was very informative and inspiring. “This has opened the door for long-term partnerships, international learning and new market opportunities,” he said.
Apart from the Turkish business associations, the forum also interacted with members of the Non-Resident Nepali Community based in Turkey. On the occasion, discussions were held on diaspora investment, advisory role and role that non-resident Nepalis can play in nepal’s growing startup ecosystem.
