Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has issued a short-term interim order to maintain the status quo of the cable car construction work in Pathibhara, Taplejung.
After the initial hearing on the writ petition filed by Yam Bahadur Limbu and others, the Supreme Court has issued a short-term interim order in the name of the government and the construction company to maintain the status quo of the cable car construction in Pathibhara until the interim order is finalized.
In view of the contents mentioned in the writ, a single bench of Supreme Court Justice Sharanga Subedi on Wednesday held that it would be appropriate to decide on the interim order only after discussions between both parties. Both parties have been summoned to the court on Chaitra 26 to discuss the issue of issuing an interim order or not.
