Kathmandu. The government has declared 45 people killed during the Genji movement as martyrs.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday took the decision in this regard. The Genji generation had staged demonstrations on September 23 and 24 demanding national interest, good governance and corruption control.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel said that the government has decided to declare 45 people killed during the demonstration in different parts of the country as martyrs.
