According to an analysis of US election funding documents conducted by OpenSecrets, it has been revealed that Musk has spent at least $ 455 million to support Republican candidates and conservative organizations. This is the largest expenditure ever made by a single person in an election.
During the Senate election in Texas, Musk spent more than $200 million to support Republican candidate Ken Paxton. However, Paxton lost to Democratic Party candidate James Talarico.
A few years ago, Musk moved his residence and some of his business interests to Texas.
