Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 10.25 points to close at 2,698.44 today.
Two sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 11 sub-groups declined. Other groups increased the most by 0.46 per cent while hotel and tourism group decreased by 2.13 per cent.
Shares of 85 companies have fallen, while 168 companies have fallen. Shares of 7 companies remained stable on this day.
The market was traded worth more than Rs 11.65 billion today. The highest turnover was made by Super Mai Hydropower.
