Kathmandu. Now, there is no limit to depositing money in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund and Prime Minister’s Relief Fund through digital means.
The government has set up these funds for relief, rescue, search and rehabilitation in the areas affected by the Rusuwa floods. The government has created these funds to bring aid and contribution money through a one-door system.
At present, various organizations and individuals have started contributing to these funds. In view of this, the Nepal Rastra Bank has amended the Integrated Directive on Payment Systems and has made a provision that there is no limit on sending money to both the funds through digital means.
According to the central bank, the maximum transaction limit will not apply to send money through digital means to the bank account operated by the government for these funds.
