Kathmandu. The newly appointed Chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority, Dr. Rajan Bikram Thapa has assumed office from November 19. While assuming the office, he directed the employees to maintain internal good governance and expand the access to insurance.
On the recommendation of the selection committee formed by the Ministry of Finance, the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday appointed Thapa as the chairman. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle administered the oath of office and secrecy to Thapa at the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday.
