Kathmandu. ICT Foundation Nepal has opened applications for the ‘Google Career Certificate Scholarship Program 2026’ in collaboration with Google LLC and Mero Job Limited. This program has been launched with the aim of targeting Nepali learners who want to enhance their skills in information technology and technology-related fields.
Under the program, 500 fully funded scholarship seats will be made available to eligible candidates from all over Nepal. According to the organizers, no prior experience is required to participate in the program.
Implemented as an official NPO partner under the MeroBob-Google Career Certificate Scholarship Program 2026, participants will have access to professional training designed by Google and provided through Coursera. ICT Foundation Nepal and Mero Job Limited will coordinate and collaborate at the local level.
According to the organizers, the program will provide a guided, flexible, and career-oriented learning opportunity for the participants. It is expected to benefit students who want to acquire world-class digital skills, young graduates, working professionals, women, people from disadvantaged and at-risk communities, economically disadvantaged but strong-willed learners, and those who want to change careers.
The courses available include Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, IT Support, Project Management, UX Design, IT Automation with Python, Advanced Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, AI Installless, Prompting Install, and AI Professional Certificate. Each course will take 3 to 6 months to complete and must be completed within 6 months of onboarding.
Learners can enroll in one or more courses of their choice. However, the organizers have to ensure the time, commitment and continuous engagement required to successfully complete the selected courses.
Scholarship seats for learners who have been inactive for 60 days or more continuously under the important conditions of the program may be reassigned to another eligible candidate. Monthly progress will be monitored to ensure the quality of the program, and participants who receive the scholarship are expected to complete at least 70 percent of the program. The personal details of the participants will be managed confidentially in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
