Real estate business improves, Rs. 7.20 trillion in buying and selling

Kathmandu. The real estate business has improved. This is reflected in the report on the trend and current situation of real estate transactions made public by the Nepal Nation.

According to the report, in the last fiscal year 2082. In 83, the total number of real estate transactions increased by 4.74 percent compared to the previous financial year. In the previous fiscal year 2081. In the previous financial year, the number of such transactions decreased by 1.84 percent.

In the last fiscal year, real estate transactions worth Rs 720.86 billion were made. In the previous fiscal year, real estate transactions were worth Rs 386.15 billion.

Similarly, in the fourth quarter of the last financial year, the total number of real estate transactions increased by 12.25 percent compared to the same period of the previous financial year. Such transactions had increased by 14.65 percent in the same period of the previous financial year.

In the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year, real estate transactions worth Rs 275.73 billion were transacted. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, real estate transactions were worth Rs 127.61 billion.

In the fourth quarter of the last financial year, the number of real estate transactions increased by 12.28 percent. In the fourth quarter of the previous financial year, the number of such transactions increased by 15.45 percent.

During the review period, the number of resignation transactions under instruments increased by 22.88 percent. The number of such transactions had increased by 8.15 percent in the fourth quarter of the previous financial year.

The total area traded in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year increased by 15.41 percent. The area had decreased by 2.98 percent in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

In the fourth quarter of the last financial year, the revenue collected from real estate transactions increased by 48.26 percent. In the fourth quarter of the previous financial year, the revenue had increased by 23.45 percent.

During the review period, the capital gains tax collected from real estate transactions increased by 63.22 percent. Such gains tax had increased by 29.98 percent in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

In the fourth quarter of the last financial year, bank loans (including residential real estate loans) increased by 6.93 percent. In the fourth quarter of the previous financial year, such loans had increased by 5.86 percent.
