Kathmandu. The Cabinet meeting today took 7 decisions.
A meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers this afternoon took these decisions. Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel informed about these decisions.
Here are the decisions

- Accept the grant assistance of 5 million US Dollars from the Asian Development Bank for life saving and immediate emergency rescue and relief work of the people affected by the Bhotekoshi floods.
- To provide relief, taxes, tariffs and other concessions and facilities under the Integrated Business Rehabilitation Plan to the people, industries, businesses and businesses affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa.
- The government has also announced to provide risk allowance and lunch allowance to the security personnel and civil servants deputed in the aftermath of the flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa and provide free medical treatment in case of injury and Rs 10 lakh each to the family of the deceased.
- Public holiday on the occasion of Jenji Martyrs’ Day on September 7, 2083.
- To observe a national mourning on Monday, September 6, 2008, the death anniversary of the 13th day of the incident, as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives due to the unimaginable devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River on the Nepal-China border on 10th Bhadra 2083 BS. On that day, the Nepali flag will be flown at half-mast at government offices across Nepal and Nepali embassies and missions abroad.
- Narayan Prasad Bhatta will be promoted to the post of Gazetted Special Class Secretary towards Nepal Administrative Service Grouping and posted as Chief Secretary of the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Koshi Province.
Permission will be given to import 25,000 metric tons of sugar through Salt Trading Corporation and Food Management and Trading Company at 1 percent customs duty.TAG_OPEN_li_20
