Kathmandu. Shankar Group has extended its support during the Rasuwa flood disaster. The Shankar Group family has expressed its heartfelt gratitude and respect to the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police, volunteer brothers and sisters and government officials for their prompt rescue and relief work in this hour of crisis.
Deepa Agrawal, Director of Shankar Group, and a team of senior management of Shankar Group handed over Rs. A cheque of Rs. 4 crore to the Finance Minister.
In addition, on the third day of the disaster, the Shankar Group, in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs, has provided Rs. 2,500 for temporary shelter to the displaced people through the Chief District Officer of Bhairahawa. It has already provided 2,500 tarpaulin tents worth Rs 2.5 million.
