Kathmandu. The bodies of 177 people who lost their lives in the devastating floods in Rasuwa have been recovered.
According to the data made public by Nepal Police, 69 bodies have been found in Chitwan alone. Bodies of 27 people have been found in Dhading, 32 in Nawalparasi East, 20 in Gorkha, 12 in Nuwakot, 9 in Tanahun, 6 in Nawalparasi West and 2 in Rasuwa.
According to the police, 33 injured are being treated at different hospitals. Among the injured, 19 are being treated at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, 8 at Trauma Center, 2 each at Bir Hospital and Norvic Hospital, and one each at Birendra Military Hospital and Manmohan Hospital.
A total of 3,318 police personnel have been deployed to rescue the affected areas. So far, 28 police personnel have not come into contact.
