Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has organized a two-day Business Excellence Conference. The conference held at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Kathmandu from August 1 to August 2 concluded with the slogan Lead, Aspire, Evolve.
More than 250 employees working in the sales and marketing sector from all over the country participated in the conference. The conference was jointly inaugurated by the company’s senior directors Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, Bimal Prasad Dhakal, Prabin Prakash Chhetri and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Prabin Raman Parajuli.
Addressing the program, Mr. Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal, senior director of Nepal Life Insurance said that Nepal Life has completed 25 years of glorious journey and has built a history of trust, stability and leadership in the insurance industry of Nepal. He further added that the company has set another historic record by collecting more than Rs 13 billion in the first insurance premium in the fiscal year 2082/83.
He thanked all the stakeholders associated with the company for this achievement and urged them to work with the same enthusiasm, dedication and commitment in the days to come. “Today, we have reached a higher height, but to maintain this height, we need joint effort, effort and support from all,” he said. “
Addressing the conference, Chief Executive Officer of the company Praveen Raman Parajuli thanked all the employees for their performance in the fiscal year 2082/83 and called on them to work with more activeness, discipline and commitment from the beginning to achieve the business goals of the current fiscal year 2083/84. He reviewed the business achievements of the last fiscal year and informed the conference about the sales and strategic plans for the current fiscal year 2083/84.

It is not enough to just reach this height, it requires concerted efforts, mutual cooperation and continuous commitment from all to move ahead towards newer heights while maintaining the gains made. “
During the conference, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the company, National Sales Head, Business Operations, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Agency and Policy Servicing, Agency Training, Information Technology, Digital Transformation and Human Resources Departments presented detailed reports and presentations on the performance, achievements, challenges and future action plan related to their respective departments.
While reviewing the progress of the last fiscal year, it was shared about the business goals, strategic priorities, service improvement, digital transformation, human resource development and the action line to be adopted for achieving the target.
At the end of the conference, certificates were handed over to the participants by CEO Praveen Raman Parajuli, Deputy CEO Amit Kumar Kayal, National Sales Head Umapati Pokharel and HR.
In addition, the best performing employees and branches and sub-branches of the fiscal year 2082/83 were honored and awarded in 14 different categories.
The conference has given new energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the employees of Nepal Life to achieve the company’s business goals in the coming days.
