Kathmandu. Bibhor Jha, an engineer with more than a decade of experience in the banking sector, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Life Insurance.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Company has decided to appoint Jhali to the post of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Jha has more than one-and-a-half decades of experience in the banking sector. He has a long experience in the banking sector including Chief Financial Officer, Chief of Treasury Front, and Chief Directed Loan Officer. He is also a board member of Sanima Capital.
Jha holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He has been working with Sanima Bank for more than 12 years. Prior to joining Himalayan Life, he was the Chief Directed Credit Officer at Sanima Bank. Prior to Sanima Bank, he was working with Nabil Bank Limited for more than five years.
The board of directors of Himalayan Life Insurance has appointed Dinesh Amatya, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of IME Life Insurance, as the acting CEO of the company, following the suspension of Kapil Kumar Dahal, Chief Executive Officer of the subsidiary company.
