Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: President of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, has said that human service should be linked with religion. Inaugurating the Shrimad Bhagwat Gyan Mahayagya organized for the construction of the building of Manav Sewa Ashram Baglung branch at Baglung on Friday, Dhakal said, “The biggest religion is human service. Therefore, human emotions should be linked to religion.
Dhakal also stressed the need of publicizing the religious activities in the Gandak area including Baglung district as it is important from the perspective of Vedic Sanatan religion and the religious activities have increased in recent period.
“Baglung is a religious holy land and it needs to be identified as such,” he said. I am happy that the temple of humanity is going to be constructed on the sacred Kaligandaki bank situated in the lap of Muktinath and Damodar Kunda. “I will personally and institutionally participate in the construction of this ashram building at my birthplace,” he added.
Stating that they would involve all the people of the district to publicize the importance of Muktinath area, Damodar Kunda, Galeshwor, Baglung Kalika, Modibeni Dham, Jaimini Ghat where Jaimini Rishi had meditated, he said.
On the occasion, Chairman Dhakal praised the campaign launched by the Manav Sewa Ashram in all seven provinces for the service of mankind and thanked the construction of the temple of humanity on the banks of the sacred Kaligandaki river.
He also said that he wanted the sources of inspiration for human life and the human service campaigners involved in the Manav Sewa Ashram to be inspired to engage in human sentiments.
