Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has removed the limit on share loans. The central bank has removed the limit of Rs 25 crore for single customers.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of Nepal (NRB), has lifted the maximum limit of margin loan from any or all of the licensed institutions to Rs 250 million. With this, natural people can now get collateral loans from banks and financial institutions beyond this limit.
The central bank has made this provision on the instructions of the Ministry of Finance based on the recommendations of the Capital Market Reform Task Force of the Securities Board of Nepal.
