Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) Chairman Sharad Ojha has been suspended.
Ojha has been suspended soon after a meeting of the Council of Ministers formed an inquiry committee on Monday to investigate
his eligibility.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday formed an inquiry committee under the coordination of former High Court Judge Krishna Giri after a complaint was lodged with the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).
The government had appointed Ojha as the chairman of the Insurance Authority on March 15.
The dispute regarding Ojha’s eligibility is also pending in the Supreme Court.
