Kathmandu. Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) is going to pay for the upcoming fiscal year 2082. The annual insurance policy and program of 83 has been made public.
NeA Chairman Sharad Ojha unveiled the insurance policy and programmes at a press conference held in Kathmandu today. The NRA’s policy and programme states that the rights of the insured will be protected by making the insurance service reliable, transparent, accessible and quality.
For this, nea has put forward four main strategies.
Such are the strategies
- Developing a system that provides easy information on terms and features and exceptions of the insurance policies in circulation,
- Making insurance services accessible through digital payments and alternative distribution systems,
- Applying the transparency dashboard system to insurers to increase transparency in the insurance sector,
- Making legal provisions for the protection of insured interests.
