Kathmandu. According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning, bagmati province has allocated Rs 41.43 billion or 61 per cent of the total budget of Rs 67.47 billion.
Kathmandu district has allocated 11.9 per cent of the total budget, while Makwanpur, which is also the provincial capital, has allocated 10.6 per cent of the budget.
Similarly, Nuwakot and Kavre districts have been allocated 10÷10 percent of the total budget, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning.
Similarly, 8.4 percent of the budget has been allocated in Sindhupalchowk district. Dolakha district, who is also the Minister for Economic Affairs, has allocated 8.3 percent of the allocated budget. At a time when there are allegations that the Minister of Economic Affairs has taken all the budget to his district, the minister’s district is in the fifth position in the district where the budget has been allocated.
Similarly, 7.5 percent budget has been allocated in Chitwan, 6.8 percent in Sindhuli, 6.7 percent in Lalitpur, 6.1 percent in Ramechhap district, 6.1 percent in Dhading, 4.8 percent in Bhaktapur district and 2.8 percent in Rasuwa district.
According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning, a budget of Rs 3.94 billion has been allocated for the development budget under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Development, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Drinking Water, among others.
Kavre has rs 3.30 billion, Chitwan Rs 2.48 billion, Dolakha District Rs 2.74 billion, Dhading Rs 2.14 billion, Nuwakot Rs 3.31 billion, Bhaktapur Rs 1.59 billion, Makawanpur Rs 3.49 billion. According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning, rs 925.29 million has been allocated in Rasuwa, Rs 2.31 billion in Ramechhap, Rs 2.22 billion in Lalitpur, Rs 2.79 billion in Sindhupalchowk and Rs 2.25 billion in Sindhuli.
