Kathmandu. The stock market rose by double digits today. The NEPSE index increased by 14.17 points to close at 2726.72.
As many as 11 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while two others declined. Today, the trading group increased by 2.58 percent and the investment group fell the most by 0.42 percent.
Share prices of 153 companies have increased and the share prices of 111 companies have fallen. Shares of 12 companies remained stable on the day.
The market was traded at Rs 4.49 billion today. Reliance Spinning Mills was the top trader.
