Kathmandu. U.S. special forces are preparing to launch one of the most advanced operations in history on Iran’s heavily guarded nuclear facilities. The purpose of this operation is to seize Iran’s enriched uranium.
According to a report in the New York Post, there are plans to send thousands of troops to Iran’s nuclear facilities for this very complex operation. The New York Post quoted Joseph Rogers, deputy director of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, as saying that a military operation is the most likely way to get rid of Iran’s nuclear material because the talks have not progressed quickly.
A source familiar with the military plan told The Post that the operation could require thousands of troops to attack nuclear facilities, remove explosives and secure transport routes. Small units of special forces will then transport enriched uranium. Which is an extremely dangerous process.
“I think this is going to be one of the most advanced operations in military history, or perhaps the most advanced operation that has ever been carried out,” Rogers said.
In other news, SEAL commandos are likely to be involved in special operations with Team 6’s Silver Squadron, 2nd Ranger Battalion and the Army’s 21st Ordnance Company. The 21st Ordnance Company will handle and transport enriched uranium from the Fordow nuclear facility and the Isfahan site.
According to the New York Post, Rogers said that the military must first establish a safe perimeter around nuclear sites and create a safe passage along the airstrip. U.S. teams will also have to clear destroyed entry points before entering the site. ’
According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran currently has uranium enriched to 60 percent, more than 450 kilograms. –Agency
