Kathmandu. The stock market closed down by a single digit on Monday. The NEPSE index decreased by 8.16 points to close at 2662.91.
Three sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group have increased while the remaining 10 sub-groups have fallen. The finance group was the biggest loser by 0.56 per cent while the hydropower group fell the most by 1.02 per cent.
Shares of 86 companies increased and 163 declined. On this day, the share prices of 9 companies are stable.
On this day, the market was traded around Rs 8 billion. Reedy Power has the highest turnover.
