Kathmandu. The stock market rose by single digits on Friday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 7.90 points to close at 2734.63.
With the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 7 sub-groups have increased while 6 sub-groups have fallen. The banking group was the biggest loser by 1.17 per cent while the mutual fund group fell the most by 2.08 per cent.
Share prices of 152 companies increased and 109 declined. Shares of 15 companies remained stable today.
On this day, the market was traded at Rs 6.26 billion. Reedy Power has the highest turnover.
