Kathmandu. The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has directed Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) and CDSC to resume short selling. Today, the NEPSE index has increased by 79.74 points. With this, NEPSE index climbed to 2677.54 points.
As many as 12 groups in the NEPSE sub-group increased while one decreased. The manufacturing and processing group increased the most by 4.60 percent, while the mutual fund fell by 0.29 percent.
On this day, the share prices of 259 companies increased and 13 declined. Today, 2 groups are stable.
More than Rs 4.5 billion was traded in the market today. Most of the transactions have been done in Ankhukhola hydropower.
