Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure dividends of three insurance companies. Today is the last day to deposit dividend of Nepal Insurance, Shikhar Insurance and Sun Nepal Life Insurance. These companies have decided to close the book on December 29 for the purpose of dividend and AGM. This means that only the shareholders who have remained in the company as of December 13 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
KATHMANDU, Jan. 12: Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company (LIC) has decided to hold its 8th and 9th AGM on January 8. The meeting will begin at 10:30 am at Amritbhog Caterers in Kalikasthan, Kathmandu.
In the last fiscal year 2081. The company will approve a total dividend of 20.2632 percent of the current paid-up capital proposed for the company. This includes 5% bonus shares and 15.2632% cash dividend.
Similarly, Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NIC) has decided to hold its 77th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 12. The rally will begin at 11:00 am at the Tribhuvan Army Officers’ Club in Bhadrakali, Kathmandu.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The government will approve cash dividend (including tax) of 6.3158 percent of the current paid-up capital proposed for the fiscal year. As per the current paid-up capital, the company will distribute Rs 160,962,631.87 cash dividend out of the current paid-up capital of Rs 2,5485,75,005.
Meanwhile, Shikhar Insurance has decided to hold its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 12. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am at the company’s central office located at Shikhar Biz Centre, Thapathali, Kathmandu.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The company will approve a total dividend of 6.3158% of the current paid-up capital proposed for the company. This includes 6 percent bonus shares and 0.3158 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
