Share loan flow of commercial banks increased by 25.55%, from which amount? (With List)

Kathmandu. As the demand for loans from other sectors has slowed, commercial banks have increased their lending in the stock market. Commercial banks are aggressively lending in the stock market.

The last fiscal year 2082 was released by the Nepal Rastra Bank. According to the data till the end of 83, 19 out of 20 commercial banks have issued share loans of Rs 143.14 billion. These banks had given share loans of Rs 114.14 billion in the previous financial year 2081. As of July 1982, the share loans issued by the banks have increased by 25.55 percent compared to the previous year.

During the review period, Nabil was the largest number of share lenders, while Rastriya Banijya Bank was ahead in terms of growth rate. Share loans from 16 banks have increased compared to the same period last year. Nepal Bank, Citizens Bank and Nepal SBI Bank have reduced their share loan flow while Standard Chartered Bank has not disbursed loans under this head.

Nabil Bank has issued a share loan of Rs 18.14 billion till the end of the last financial year. This is 8.25 percent more than the previous year’s June. In the previous year, the bank had issued a share loan of Rs 16.76 billion.

Global IME Bank is the second largest share loan issuer. The bank, which had given share loans of Rs 12.30 billion till mid-July last year, increased by 20.44 percent to Rs 14.82 billion by the review period.

Kumari is the third bank to lend more shares. The bank has issued a share loan of Rs 10.44 billion till mid-July last year. By the end of the previous year, the bank had issued a share loan of Rs 10.43 billion. The share loan from the bank increased by 0.06 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

Nepal SBI Bank is the bank with the lowest share loan during the review period. This bank has issued a share loan of Rs 61.33 crore. Rastriya Banijya Bank is ahead with a growth rate of 162 percent.
