KATHMANDU: Life Insurance Corporation Nepal (LIC Nepal) has provided financial assistance of Rs 1.25 crore to the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa on August 26.
Chief Executive Officer of the company Pranay Kumar, Deputy CEO Anirban Dutta, Company Secretary Sudarshan Giri among others handed the cheque of Rs 1 crore 25 lakhs to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund through Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.
The company has expressed deep condolences to the family members of the deceased and wished for eternal peace of the departed soul. The company also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
With this financial support, the company believes that this financial support will support the efforts of the company to deal with the national disaster as a part of its corporate responsibility, distribution of relief to the affected families and rehabilitation.
