Kathmandu. The Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has taken action against more than one and a half dozen people who appeared in the life insurance agent examination.
The authority has taken action against 19 candidates for irregularities in the examination. The CAAN has canceled the exams of the fake examinees, citing their participation. These candidates had appeared for the examination from various life insurance companies.
Sabita Adhikari of Gulmi, Suraj Bhandari of Panchthar, Mamata Thakur of Bara, Ashish Harijan of Rupandehi, Sandhya Dhakal of Nawalpur, Fulmaya Basnet of Kapilvastu, Lal Bahadur Thapa of Dailekh, Lala Bahadur Saud of Achham, Karuna Shrestha of Rupandehi and Robinson Subba of Panchthar.
Likewise, Pim Kumari Malla of Rupandehi, Rohit Kumar Chaulagain of Ilam, Kalpana MC of Pyuthan, Samikshya Neupane of Rupandehi, Govinda Poudel of Arghakhanchi, Ajit Timilsina (Poudel) of Kaski, Rajesh Kumar Thakur of Rautahat, Deepika Pokharel of Sunsari and Robert Basnet of Kaski have also been penalized.
According to the authority, all those who have been taken action have been barred from appearing in the examination for 3 months.
