Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has invited applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
A committee formed by the Ministry of Finance under the convenorship of Joint Secretary Mahesh Acharya has invited applications for the post of CEO of NEPSE. On Monday, the ministry had formed a 3-member recommendation committee under the convenorship of Acharya.
The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce, finance, management, information technology or commerce or law from a recognized educational institution and at least 7 years of managerial experience in capital market or financial sector or management with at least 15 years of work experience.
The recommendation committee will issue the shortlist based on the evaluation of the qualifications, experience and action plan of the applications received. After this, the committee will call the shortlisted people for interviews and presentations.
After the interview and presentation, the committee will submit the names of 3 people to the ministry. After this, the Ministry will recommend these names in the Council of Ministers. One of them will be appointed as the CEO of Nepse by the cabinet meeting.
Chudamani Chapagain had resigned from the post of CEO of NEPSE on July 7. The then government had appointed him as the CEO of NEPSE on April 2, 2081.
