Kathmandu. The stock market rose on Thursday. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 7.50 points to close at 2,597.80 points.
With the rise in the market, 9 sub-groups of NEPSE sub-group increased while 4 sub-groups decreased. On the day, the mutual fund group rose the most by 1.66 percent, while the finance group fell the most by 0.66 percent.
Shares of 121 companies rose and 151 declined. On this day, the share prices of 3 companies are stable.
The market was traded at Rs 4.56 billion today. Singati Hydro was the most traded company.
