Kathmandu. The government has removed Dan Bahadur Karki from the post of Inspector General of Police (IGP).
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today decided to remove Karki from the post of IGP. The meeting also decided to depute Karki to the post of Special Security Advisor to Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
The meeting also decided to appoint Additional Inspector General (AIG) Dr Manoj Kumar KC to the post of Inspector General of Police (IGP).
